Catholic Church lawyer admits Church knew of paedophile priest in 1958

The Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne's lawyer has given evidence to the child sex abuse royal commission that the Catholic Church knew of allegations Father Kevin O'Donnell was a paedophile as far back as 1958 but did nothing about it. O'Donnell went on to abuse primary school girl Emma Foster in the 1980s but Richard Leder gave evidence the Church contested the case when it went to court.
