An investigator sent to dig up dirt on a pedophile Christian Brother's victims told lawyers the witnesses could be easily 'torn down' in court, an inquiry has heard. The Catholic religious order paid for Br Edward Dowlan's solicitors, who hired the private investigator to track down his victims in 1995.
