The Archdiocese of Agana and the Boy Scouts of America should have
known about the "sexually abusive and exploitative propensities" of a
priest who served in parishes around the island for more than two
decades and also served as a leader in the Scouts organization in Guam,
said a new lawsuit filed in the District Court of Guam.
An individual identified with the initials "J.D." to protect his identity, filed a lawsuit that marks the 49th civil complaint lodged against the Catholic Church in Guam.
