Almost 500 years after the Protestant Reformation, an organization
representing most of the world’s Lutherans is working toward restoring
unity with the Roman Catholic Church.
Last October, Pope Francis and other Catholic officials held a joint prayer service with leaders from the Lutheran World Federation in Lund, Sweden, to kick off the celebration of the milestone anniversary.
