It was not surprising to read the recent Buffalo News headline, “Unhappy Buffalo Catholics are giving less.” It was sad. Not surprising. Certainly understandable.
Catholic leadership continues to struggle to regain the trust of the faithful. Clergy abuse is a horrific crime. The associated cover-ups are criminal as well.
