convenient database for law enforcement and other interested persons,
showing names (and pictures) of all the Catholic Priests, Nuns,
Brothers, Deacons, and Seminarians in the United States publicly accused
of sexually abusing children and/or possessing child pornography. Links
are provided to the court documents and mainstream media articles that
are the sources for this database, and a factual summary of the
allegations is provided for each accused
The list was compiled from reports commissioned by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). A few interesting facts from the web site: As of March 28, 2014, the USCCB has counted 6,427 clerics "not
implausibly" and "credibly" accused in the period 1950-2013 of sexually
abusing minors.
