on the federal election, outlining the issues they see as important. “A
Vote For The Voiceless” names 10 issues, from refugees and asylum
seekers to the effect on the world’s poor of Australia’s reduced foreign
aid budget.
The voices of these “thrown-away people” are in danger of not being heard in “the long and rowdy campaign”, the bishops say, obviously hopeful that their statement will give the people a voice.
