George Pell’s old school will remove his name from a building named in his honour, and strike a line through his name on its honour board. St Patrick’s College, Ballarat, where Pell attended from 1949 to 1959, said on Tuesday that in the wake of the Cardinal’s conviction it would also revoke his status as an “inducted legend of the school”.
