SUPPORT for expanded terms of reference for the national
royal commission into child sex abuse is building, with a group
representing people who grew up in orphanages saying that it would be
unacceptable to “exclude the suffering” of victims of physical abuse and
neglect.
Care Leavers of Australia Network says that sexual abuse in an
institutional setting rarely occurs in isolation from other forms of
