Police digging for remains at former Ballarat orphanage site

You go around every catholic orphanage worldwide... and you will find... dead babies bodies buried... and little children... one day they would just disappear...  and they were as healthy.. as us all were... I think that us men and women... who survived the RAPES... and ABUSE... were meant to survivor... so as we could tell our stories... to the world... and to bring the catholic church... down to her knees... and to bring justice...  to all of us innocent children... and most of all... for those who did not survivor the horror... the abuse and the rape of their childhood... because of those lost children... we have found our voice... and we call each in their given name... which  their mothers gave them... we are their voice... and we will keep calling out to the world... until every last priest and nuns... are called up to face the courts... for justice to be done... and only then... will we rest... Ann

WE ARE THE TRUTH...
WE HAVE OUR VOICE...
WE WILL NOT GO AWAY...
WE WILL FIGHT TO THE END...
WE STAND AS ONE OF MANY...
WE WILL BE SILENT NO MORE...
WE HAVE BROKEN OUR SILENCE...
WE HAVE GOD AS OUR WITNESS...
WE LIVE AND STAND BY THE TRUTH...
WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECTION...

Police are digging up the grounds of a former Ballarat orphanage associated with historic sexual and physical abuse, searching for children's remains. The remains are suspected to have been buried at the once Damascus University site before the orphanage closed in 1968.
The investigation was sparked when former orphanage residents raised the issue at Ballarat City Council meetings discussing redevelopment plans for the 200 Victoria Street site. Former orphanage resident Phyllis Read laid a "blood claim" to the site at a 2012 meeting. "I say it's our blood, so it's our land," the indigenous woman said.
