The victims of a paedophile Catholic priest, who initially
denied the allegations made against him and “betrayed” those he
attacked, have told a court he was protected by the church.
John
Joseph Farrell, also known as ‘Father F’ appeared in Sydney’s Downing
Centre District Court this morning, after being found guilty of 62
offences involving sexual assaults on 12 victims during the early 1980s. The majority of those he assaulted were altar boys at the time, the court heard.
