Ana Wagner's adult success came despite a childhood secret that left
her sweating, shaking and sobbing a full quarter-century later.
“I'm a strong Latino woman,” said Wagner, the oldest child of Dominican immigrants. “I've been a business owner. I was a valedictorian. I got a scholarship to City College of New York and I earned a degree in psychology. “But there are times when I have felt so powerless. I felt an emptiness that nobody else could understand.”
