A RETIRED priest and church psychologist has admitted he described
the hanging death of a 13-year-old boy in his own bedroom as “a prank
gone wrong”. The boy, Andrew Nash, died in October 1974.
Father Burston had gone to annoint his body – to give Andrew his last rites. Hilbert Chiu, counsel for Andrew’s mother, Audrey Nash, asked: “Father Burston, did you tell other people that Andrew’s death was a prank gone wrong?”
