HARRISBURG - Shaun Dougherty, a Johnstown native, was one of the
victims highlighted in the state grand jury investigation of child sex
abuse in the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown.
Since coming out with his own story, Dougherty has joined state Rep. Mark Rozzi (D-Berks), who also was abused by a priest, and other victims and advocates who have spent hours walking the halls of Pennsylvania government pushing for the passage of House Bill 1947.
