you know with saying like this "Soul Murder"... us survivors have
talked about this for years now... when you hear or see those same words
spoken... "Soul Murder"... by these people here... you see them in a
more offensive way... they have given more meaning to them... but still
to us survivors... they mean more to us... than any one will ever
know... "Soul Murder"...when we were abused and raped by nuns... priest
and their workers... it took everything that we believed in...
away from us... it tore us into little bits... it was like the devil
had put his hands... into our heart... and tore our Souls out of us...
we are tied of hearing the false apology's... they are just empty words... when it comes for us to ask questions... about our faith... they turn their backs on us... and then walk away... it is like they do not want to know... how we feel about losing our faith... is it because that is the only thing... which god will not forgive... OH Yes... it is written in the bible and what happens to children... but we never saw a bible in the orphanages... Ann

The Catholic Church still fails to comprehend the depth of damage
caused to victims and their families as result of the widespread sexual
violation of children and adults by clergy, an inquiry heard. Doctor Thomas Doyle, a United States canon lawyer and expert in areas of sexual abuse by clergy gave evidence at the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Sydney on Tuesday.
