The
Brearley School, a prestigious all-girls private school in Manhattan,
said Friday that four former faculty members had engaged in sexual
misconduct with students as far back as the 1950s and as recently as the
1990s.
The information was the result of an investigation
conducted for the school by the law firm Covington & Burling. It
found that a teacher on staff from the 1970s through the 1990s made
sexual comments to middle and high schools students, “sexualizing class
projects and discussions” for example.https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/27/nyregion/brearley-school-sexual-misconduct-teachers-report.html?emc=edit_tnt_20171027&nlid=63876270&tntemail0=y
