Judge Orders Insurance Company to Reimburse Archdiocese for Sex Abuse Settlements

And this is why... the catholic church does not care two hoots... about the men and women... they raped and abused... while children in their care... they lose nothing... and all that they hold dear to them... and what they are frighten of losing the most... is their blood money... they made out of the children... the catholic church in new Zealand... took out insurances in the 1970s... knowing that what they were doing to us... was wrong... and this is why the Nazareth house nuns... will never admit to the abuse... that they did to us men and women.;.. this is so wrong... and you wonder why... I feel so bad about all of this... they still walk away... with their heads held high... while we still suffer in the torment of our shame... it's all so wrong... how can we ever start to heal??... not in this life time... maybe when I go to hell... the flames will burn my sins out from my soul..  that is why my fight for justice is never ending... it is so hard... when you know... that their apologize are empty words only...  Ann

Last week, the Hartford Archdiocese won a case against the insurance company who refused to reimburse the Archdiocese for payments made to victims of priest sexual abuse.
The decision by U.S. District Judge Janet Bond Arterton found that the insurance company, Interstate Fire and Casualty, was in breach of it's contract for refusing to reimburse the Archdiocese for payments it made to four victims of priest sexual abuse dating back to the 1970s and '80s.
