Former Catholic brother Bernard McGrath will be extradited to Australia to face 252 child sex-abuse charges. McGrath's
lawyer, Phillip Allan, confirmed yesterday the 66-year-old would not
appeal the extradition order granted after a lengthy legal process by
former Justice Minister Judith Collins.
McGrath had challenged Ms Collins' decision through a judicial review in the High Court at Christchurch. But Justice Cameron Mander concluded no error had been made in deciding to extradite him to stand trial.
