I have now been going through14years of justice, fighting for the sexual abuse to me, by a priest, when I was 15years old, as well as that, I have made more complaints because of the re-abuse to me in Wellington New Zealand and of how 3priest used the sexual abuse to me by a priest, as a joke, at a meeting they were at. Also about a priest who was, the head person, at the top of The Path to Healing, told me that he liked walking behind us girls, because we had beautiful legs and a catholic counselor, asked me if it felt nice, to be sexual abused, while she was counseling me.
The 3priest:.. Bernadette who is one of the priest sister, had told me this and she was one of our lawyers, at the mediation in 2001, for the Good Shepherd order of nuns and it took her 3days to tell her lies, that she did not tell me and I said back, that I would not had known, that she had a brother and that her brother is a priest, if she had not told me about it that day, I meet her, going to court, as it was that day also, she told me that she did not work, for our lawyer any more. she was now working as the courts lawyer.
When I made the complaint about what Bernadette, had told me about her brothers and what had happened at the meeting, it took her three days to reply, to the commissioner of police, to tell her lies to him, where as I, had told him there and then on the same day, when he came up to see me. She had told him, that I had misunderstood, what she had said to me, all that she had to do, was to tell the truth, about that day. and she would not had needed, three days to do so.
As I had just come out, from seeing my lawyer that day, I went straight back in to see him and told him what Bernadette had told me. Years later when I asked him, if he remembered that day, he said yes and also said, I was very upset, while telling him, about the meeting with Bernadette, just outside his office.
The Path to Healing priest Fr Cahill, had told them, that he might of meant, that he said, that when he was a boy, he liked looking at our legs. NO! he did not say that. And, is this the reason, he became a priest??
The catholic counselor, asked me if it felt nice, to be sexual abused, while she was counseling me.:.. I was told that it was all right for them to talk to us, in this manner. This is out of line, for any counselor, to say this to any of us, men and women, who had been sexual abused, she was a catholic church counselor, and I hope that after I had made this complaint about her, that she was taken away from counseling us men and women, but NO she stayed on so I never went back there and also the counselors reported back to the catholic church and to the nuns, that made it worse for us. We still, as adults, do not know who to trust today.
It seems to me, that the catholic church and her counselors, can say as they pleased to us, it took me years to get Fr. Cahill off the board and to be stood down, from The Path of Healing, he talked down to us, and talked as though we were not, in the same room as he was.
