Survivors of clergy sexual abuse, who have not yet come forward to file a claim against the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, have a little more than three months to do so. That’s 101 days from today, to be exact.
Aug. 3, 2015 is the final date to file a claim against the archdiocese.
That’s because a federal judge earlier this month set a date of Aug. 3rd as the deadline. It’s known as a “claims bar date,” in the world of bankruptcy law. It refers to the deadline by which people or companies must come forward and claim that they are owed money by a debtor.
