A former bishop of Edmonton’s Anglican diocese says he has
no recollection of ever meeting a priest accused of sexually assaulting
teen boys at a city youth jail in the 1980s.
Ken Genge, who served as bishop from 1988 to 1996, said
Sunday he read news of the arrest of Father Gordon William Dominey, but
it didn’t trigger any memories. Pictures of the priest published over
the weekend also failed to register.
