3.00pm: Chairman of the Royal Commission Justice Peter McClellan has
formally adjourned case study 42 – the Newcastle Anglican diocese
– describing it as the longest of all of the case studies undertaken by
the commission.
He said it was significant not only for the Anglican church but as an
examination of how institutions may “fail or succeed in responding to
