outside Police HQ Melbourne.
"A National Apology will encourage more victims to testify and mean more pedophiles are successfully prosecuted.
People as they age, they tend to have very strong memories from their childhood. Older people who were arrested for vagrancy as a 3 year old, or subject to beatings in Police premises or NOT BELIEVED about Child Sex Abuse, definitely need an Apology because these were Crimes on the Statute Books at the time, and the Police should have taken a Statement. The Police should have been sympathetic to a child who was brave enough to speak out about horrendous crimes being committed against them. ...
